CLIMBING

Rock climbing, via ferrata, and free climbing all in one place, Alta Badia!

This activity involves climbing a cliff face with the help of pegs or ropes already there.

Near Lake Boè, just 10 minutes walk from the Boè cable car station, you can warm up your muscles on the nine rock-climbing routes of varying degrees of difficulty. This is just a taste of what awaits you a few hundred metres higher.

Taking the chairlift to Vallon, next to the mountain station, you'll be immersed in a veritable climbing paradise. Free climbers from all over the world come to climb the legendary rocks in this natural amphitheatre.

Safety is always a priority: novice climbers and those eager to progress can turn to the numerous expert mountain guides in this area, the "masters of the mountain".

Children who want to have a go at this sport can try it out in the Movimënt Active Park at Piz La Ila on easy and safe artificial walls especially designed for first climbs.
