A continuous commitment to safety, sustainability, and quality

Skicarosello, a leading lift company in Alta Badia, has recently renewed its UNI EN ISO 45001 certification for occupational health and safety management and UNI EN ISO 14001 certification for environmental management, reaffirming its ongoing commitment to the highest standards of safety, sustainability and social responsibility.

UNI EN ISO 45001: Workplace safety comes first

The UNI EN ISO 45001 certification is an international standard that sets requirements for occupational health and safety management systems.
By renewing this certification, Skicarosello confirms its priority: creating a safe and healthy working environment for employees, collaborators and partners. The company implements preventive measures and best practices to minimize workplace risks and ensure conditions that protect both the physical and mental well-being of its team.
This certification reflects Skicarosello’s strong safety culture, one that involves every team member and shapes daily operations, from lift maintenance to guest services. Continuous risk assessment and the search for innovative prevention solutions are at the core of a management system that touches every operational area.

UNI EN ISO 14001: Protecting the environment and the mountain landscape

The renewal of the UNI EN ISO 14001 certification highlights Skicarosello’s concrete commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
This international standard defines the criteria for an environmental management system that enables companies to monitor, control and reduce the environmental impact of their activities.
Skicarosello has long prioritized the responsible management of natural resources, aiming to minimize the ecological footprint of its operations. From waste management to energy efficiency initiatives, every activity is designed with respect for the alpine environment that welcomes visitors year-round.
Renewing ISO 14001 further strengthens the company’s commitment to ensuring that every project, whether installing new lifts or maintaining existing infrastructure, is carried out responsibly, reducing environmental impact and promoting sustainable land management.

A commitment focused on the future

The renewal of UNI EN ISO 45001 and 14001 marks another milestone in Skicarosello’s journey of continuous innovation. The goal: delivering a high-quality, safe and environmentally responsible experience for both guests and employees.
These certifications send a clear message, Skicarosello remains dedicated to maintaining the highest safety standards while protecting our planet.
The company continues to invest in employee training, new technologies and more efficient operational processes to create a balanced approach between growth, quality, and sustainability.
In a world increasingly focused on social and environmental responsibility, Skicarosello proudly renews its commitment to safety, quality and environmental protection, working toward a future where every decision is made with respect for both people and nature.

Renewable Energy Community (CER)

At the beginning of 2025, the Skicarosello Corvara Consortium, operator and owner of the Movimënt parks, established a Renewable Energy Community (REC).
This initiative allows Skicarosello to use surplus energy generated from its own renewable sources directly to power its lift systems.
A Renewable Energy Community (REC) is an association formed to locally produce, share, and consume electricity from renewable sources in a sustainable way.

The goal

  • Generate clean energy independently
  • Reduce operational costs
  • Support the ecological transition
  • Strengthen collaboration among participating companies

How does it work?

Within a REC, photovoltaic systems or other renewable sources (such as wind or hydropower) are installed. The energy produced is shared among members and any surplus can be fed back into the grid.
Each participating company benefits from locally generated, shared energy.

The benefits

  • Energy and cost savings
  • Greater efficiency and stability thanks to local production and consumption
  • Reduced CO₂ emissions
  • Added value for the local territory
  • Active participation in the energy transition
