THE STORY OF MOVIMËNT
The Movimënt area was born from a simple yet powerful idea, just like the mountains that surround it: turning the Alta Badia plateau into a place to enjoy all year round, in both winter and summer, for kids and adults alike, each at their own pace.
Surrounded by the UNESCO-listed Dolomites, the project took shape with the goal of offering experiences that blend sport, fun and relaxation, creating enjoyable and memorable days for everyone who loves the mountains.
From the very beginning, Movimënt has stood out for its inclusive approach: an offering designed with families in mind, yet equally appealing to athletes and outdoor enthusiasts, where movement becomes a natural, spontaneous and shared experience.
THE BIRTH OF MOVIMËNT
In 2010, a key milestone was reached by the Skicarosello Corvara Consortium, which decided to develop an innovative project for Alta Badia and the Dolomites: an offering designed to enhance the plateau during the summer season as well, alongside the winter season, when the ski slopes form the famous Alta Badia ski carousel, easily explored ski-in/ski-out.
This vision gave rise to Movimënt – Alta Badia, a brand created especially for families, yet open to all mountain lovers. A project that combines sports-focused play areas and parks located at the top stations of the main gondola lifts, together with a wide range of outdoor activities.
In 2013, Movimënt continued to grow by expanding into winter experiences, introducing snow parks: snowparks, funslopes, sledding runs and timed tracks that enrich the skiing and snowboarding experience in the very heart of the Alta Badia ski area. A true world of fun beyond skiing, set in the center of Dolomiti Superski, the largest ski area in the world.
